A message from Will:
I have grown up working hard, playing hard, and enjoying life. As I have come to see it in all things, the results we seek are only reflections of the effort that we put into it. It’s not the goal that define us…but the manner in which we seek it. Plainly, it is the effort itself that IS the achievement. I have learned as much from failure and tragedy in my life as I have from success and bliss. CrossFit has helped me discover an all new level of desire for competition, for achievement, and for the camaraderie experienced by those who have together endured and persevered through hardship. We are in this journey together. Virtus Invicta!
As a much wiser man once put it:
“…Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.”
