On today’s lifts, you will have 20 mins to establish a new 1 Rep Max for the Snatch and 20 mins for the Clean & Jerk.  We have spent over 8 weeks dialing in positions, strength and speed under the bar.    Once you pass 85%, no more than 3 misses are allowed.  Anything more means you are not ready for that weight today.  Tomorrow is another day.  There is still much work to be done on the Snatch and Clean & Jerk.  Today is just to see where we are and be proud of how far we have come.  Do you best and leave the gym happy.

SATURDAY SCHEDULE: This Saturday, August 6th, we will be hosting the 31 HEROES workout in Prairieville. Each year we come together to honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in what is considered the greatest loss of military lives during the Afghanistan campaign, surpassing Operation Red Wings in 2005. We will start early. The first heat will begin at 0700, and we will have 0800 and 0900 heat times. This is a partner workout, so please be sure to bring a buddy.
There will be no “free to guests” this Saturday.
GONZALES location will be closed on Saturday morning.
